New member, Hello

Just saying hi, ended up here from Mikes Velox Racing website. Had a lurk about seems like a good place to be.
I'm Scott from Scotland, not long switched to an R6 2CO from a CBR600rr. The CBR was half track half road bike but the Yamaha is strictly a track bike so giving up the roads this year.
Regular at Knockhill and will be doing every trackday I can make there this year, hopefully them all.

Hi Scott and welcome to the forum mate, got any pics of the R6 to show us
Have you had the R6 on track yet, how does it compare with the cbr

Hi mate,
I did the last trackday of the year at knockhill in October And completely wrecked it. That was the first time I was out on it so its getting rebuilt at the moment.
From the time I had comparing the two, R6 is quicker, smoother gearbox, slipper clutch is great.
Didn't provide as much feeling as the CBR and didn't steer as well but that can be changed with suspension adjustments, hopefully
I'm a member on TDR but hoping to get more model specific information of here, being a yamaha forum.

Welcome in Scott, been roon Knockhill myself , love it, aint got a trackbike at the mo but hope to rectify that soon, enjoy the site, and ye oor TYPE is ra best TYPE lol
