Hi guys,
Just thought I'd say Hi I registered last Aug but then never used the forum  so from now on I'm going to make more of an effort.
Anyway I've been riding since I was 17 and finally got the best bike I've ever owned, a 14B :D .
Bikes I've owned are :- Honda nsf125, Yamaha TZR250, Kawasaki KR1, Yamaha RD250LC,RGV 250, GSX-R 750 WP, GSX-R 750 X, Aprilia RSV Mille, GSX-R 750 K7, Aprilia RSVR and then finally a R1.
Places I usually ride are down to mid Wales which includes A483 to Llandrindod Wells and around the area, the lakes, Yorkshire Dales, Alston and around normally get up to Scotland for a long weekend as well. Went to Spain last year on the R1 and came back via I nip in to Germany for a blast on the autobahn, well it would have been rude not to eh :?: I honestly think it's the best bike I've ridden.
Hoping to have a good laugh on the forum and always up for any rideouts etc when possible. Once I work out how to post pics etc i'll stick a few on, anyway sorry for waffling on.
Cheers
Paul

Welcome in Paul
the A470 from llangurig to Rhayader on to Builth wells is a nice road , fair few fast sweepers on the first half & the A44 from llangurig to Aberystywyth is another good road , just watch out for the odd copper in the small villages at the weekend

Welcome in Paul..... You will love Wigan kebabs then ........fir our southern friends it's a pie on a barm cake.... Or in southern lingo a pie on a bread roll.... Or further up north a pie on a tea cake.... ... In Scotland I believe they have them deep fried..... With Mars bars... Yum yum .....

Seriously mate this is a great forum, glad you like your 14b or as some of us on here call them a sausage..... Though Lockie doesn't like calling them a sausage... It's something to do with riding a sausage and nightmares.....

Anyway the name sausage comes from the 14 b.... It's a Big Bang engine... So it's a banger..... Hence sausage.....I suppose it would be a bit like calling jon2002R1 bog.... Cos in America the slang fir the toilet is the Jon.... Over here it's the bog.... So banger is the slang for sausage....

Anyway where was I.... Oh yes this really is a great forum..... Peeps are helpful and friendly, we don't always agree, but we have a good laugh along the way. My 14be is the best bike I have ever owned, so I can understand why you love yours.

Anyway welcome, sorry fir the ramble..... got a bit carried away

Welcome in.

Oh and you ain't too far from me I'm in Warrington.... Well someone has to live there

Jompy... Glad you thought it was funny mate.. Re read it tonight... But I've been on the red wine again :?

Lockie we live in a liberal society nowadays, just because you don't like riding a sausage don't mean the test if us dont. That's the 14b before anybody gets any wrong ideas

Yeah good roads down there, sometimes I go out of Rhayder on B4518/B4574 to Devils Bridge then B4343 to Tregaron/Lampeter then start heading back to crossgates.
The B4358 between Newbridge on Wye and Beulah is one of my favs as well..up and down and twisty in places
