Welcome in Sam. Not being funny but what makes your R1 a Limited Edition? I also have the red framed bike (be prepared for the 'pink' jokes

). Cracking bikes the 14Bs although they do need a bit of taming. Enjoy mate.

Welcome to the forum Sam, you have a cracking R1 there, the carbon ackrapovics are awesome, if she is wearing her baffles take them out, she will sound so so much better and it won't be a screaming sound just a really nice intoxicating deep burble.
Colin...... I thought the pink framed r1's were limited cos Yamaha realised not many people had taste... So they didn't make many.....

looks like all three of them are on here, with yours, matts and SAMs
Seriously guys I regret that my first 14b wasn't a pink one.... But lady Penelope got there first ....
Isn't this you Colin on your bike

That's me in my best dress!

Last time I counted there were 5 red framed connoisseurs. The rest of you guys are just colour blind. I think I will start a red framed appreciation thread.

Not sure the ins and outs man all I know is its the 'limited edition red frame' one, thats why you never see that colour scheme around at all, mainly the white and black frame, blue and black frame and matte black and black frame with gold forks.
So happy days you have one!

Haha thanks for the welcome man and yes I asked the guy when I was about to take her away "erm one more thing, have you got an allen key so I can take those baffles out ?"
He just smiled
Absolutely love the bike to bits, the power is just something else also, I have the 2co 2006-2007 R6 aswell which I am selling and I thought there wouldn't be 'much' difference, OH HOW I COULDNT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG haha
