Not been Green Laning long(as most will know on here),got my bike last December, been on a couple of rides, went to the local TRF monthly meeting at the Joiners arms in Quarndon last Thursday(1st Thursday of the month @ 8 pm),and took my O/S map with me,and a very kind chap(Rob) filled in lots of local Green Lanes for me,thanks for that, much appreciated
Well,my Son(Ryan) has also recentley aquired a Aprilia RX125,we decided to give it a go on our own today, set off at 09.30,and got back at 14.00
Fuel first, and as i have a "hydration backpack" i was ok,my son doesnt,so he (well i)bought a bottle of juice for the morning, but we had nowhere to carry it.........well it fit in the airbox of my XR400
lots of lanes around Matlock, great fun,sun was shining, ground was slightly wet from rain through the night
Think the Ramblers had heard i was doing this lane, seamt to have been ready for me to arrive
Some great lanes,some great views
All in,a great day,a great way to spend Fatehr and Son time too

Look's brilliant Jon , my advice to you though is give Dave & Martin a shout & if they won't go out with you & show you around i'm sure they'll be able to show you some great routes as i've done some cracking trails with them in the past .

Absolutely perfect weather. I've only done this once, but I have never had so much fun on a bike in the rain.
