Hi just joined, had a 99/2000 back in 99/2000 just bought a 2000 5jj to build a R7 replica thought finding bits would be easy but found out quickly I was dreaming :cry: Will keep you updated with the build :)

I agree with Jompy.... Start a project thread so we can see how the build progresses, it will also be a good way if recording progress fur yourself.

Thanks for you replys fellas, have just got hold of a R7 rear subframe thanks to Harris got another swing arm they are welding to look like an R7, fairing seat unit again Harris think I may have some R1 correct era ohlins forks but your right I thought finding bits would be easier especially for the R1. I have a few bikes at the mo been riding for 32 years done a bit of racing and do loads of track days

We've got a couple of Haga's old race R7s in the back of the workshop at the moment. Can't do parts, but can do some photos if it helps? I'll watch for the progress reports...

I wish - THAT queue would stretch around the block. The only (largely) complete bike is on display in reception and that's as far as it goes really I'm afraid.
