Hi everyone,
Just joined the group, wanted to introduce myself.
Steve from sunny (?) Hastings, got a '98 red n white 4xv which has over the last couple of years been a rolling resto and a TDR 250 which is mainly in oily boxes awaiting some much needed TLC.
Will post some pictures once I work out how ...... technology is not my friend I understand spanners

Hi Stevie welcome to the forum. I'm useless with spanners and technology.....
Topmost a pic, you have to host them on photobucket and then copy a link into the post. We love pics in here.
This is a great forum, peeps really helpful. I hope you get your cutting out issue sorted, sorry I can't help. If it was an injected bike I would suggest the TPS, but as it's not I haven't a clue, though something shorting out seems to make sense to someone not mechanically minded like me.
Oh fur the guys on here, Stevie has posted a question in another thread about his bike cutting out, I know I've lost the plot but .. Well it's my age.
S welcome to the best furum ever..... We love everything Yamaha on here

Welcome in mate. Best advice is speak when spoken too and then wait to be insulted! Only joking we are one big happy family..... Most of the time.

As for both the 4xv & TDM you could always start a thread in the projects section for each bike & keep us updated with lots of pic's , we love pic's & project threads

Enjoy your stay & feel free to poke around , lots of useful stuff here shame i can't say the same about two thirds of the members

( although Luke is improving )
