Yes I think that the only bad point of the r1 4c8 is the fact that it is really stable but it lacks the agility of some of the competitors, this said even with marchesini wheels, decrease in rake angle and a 200/55 behind its not yet as an rsv4 but the improvement is there!

Also thought that the 4c8 r1 is the best looking Japanese bike ever made, so my goal is to create a "total" machine being able to surclass everything else, even if it's an "old" machine for somebody

I have Ohlins 25mm Carts in mine, whitepower rear shock and dropped the forks 7mm through the "Triple clamps" She turns pretty quickly. Wait until Damo666 comes on with his carbon 4c8 ;)

Yep, even Monica Bellucci is "old" for somebody but as for me I'd rather have her than Miley Cyrus :D
I've put lots of carbon on mine and was thinking bout doing complete carbon bodywork, but I'm afraid it'll look "dull" dunno how to explain... I have ohlins TTX rear and matris M4 steering damper.

Look on Ebay but use Europe as the search criteria ;) There are a few sets on UK ebay but they usually go for about £450.00
