hi just joined today thanks for the welcome, all new to forums so forgive me if i dont get it right first time peeps.
i have just fitted led flashers to my 99 r1 with the appropriate relay, BUT they seem to be flashing all at once !!
the side the switch is allocated to is brighter than the other side but all are duller than they should be.
i have tryed the flashers on a mates bike and they are really bright and flash individually all be it at a faster rate.
any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated guys.
regards Rab

I rang a friend he he said if battery is getting g low it foes this. Gl and welcome. (Can you turn main lights off on your model if so do that as well)

Yup batt sound and the lights were off, it's bin suggested the switch gear my be passing current that wouldn't normally effect bulbed flashers!
Off to have another go at it thanks for the help so far dudes mucho gracias

Is the relay a specific one for LED's?
LED have a lower resistance than filament lamps, therefore they flash faster with a normal relay
Try your original relay and if they work properly, even though they flash really fast then your new relay is at fault, if they still all flash together then you have a wiring fault

Some of the new indicators have built in relays as well. Maybe you don't need it

				Welcome in Rab

Ive got a 98 R1,but it has no indicators

The indicator relay is the one under the seat yeh?,youve changed that for a LED relay yeh?,do all (front & rear) run through that relay?

My bike had LED indicators and tail lamp when I bought it. Everything flashed really fast, including the brake lamps, when I turned the indicators on, plus they were flush mount and couldn't be seen from in front or behind the bike.
So I refitted the originals!
I understand it's something to do with the dash bulb as Luke said.

The OP has fitted a relay for LEDs so this shouldn't be needed.
