Hiya folks. A forum newbie hear so be gentle. Got my self a 2005 r1 at the beginning of the summer. Only been riding 5-6 years but so far the best bike I've had.

Hi and welcome too the madhoose,i am sure you will be welcomed here by the hardcore when you give a description of your bike history and the obligatory pics..

I'll get photos up as soon as. The bike is a work in progress. It's the go!!!!!!! Rossi edition rep of the 2004 motogp season bike. It pretty much standard apart from a tail tidy tank filler levers grips and a mix and match clutch(barret steal plates and ebc street racer fiber plates) doing the trick so far.

Welcome to the forum David, as peeps have said we love pics on here, also another member from North of the wall, I think is lot further South are getting out numbered

Anyway glad you like the R1 the 5vy is an awsome machine and the 2004 model was my first R1 as well. Tell us what other bikes you have had as well.

You will need your sense of humour on here, as there is a fair bit of banter but it's all in good humour.

Rambo.... You need to host the pics on something loke photobucket and then just copy the image link in your post.

Btw, was that pic of your R1 taken outside Preston gaol? I used to work in county hall so went past there every day.
