Welcome to the mad house Andy, and congratulations on your move up from the R6 to the R1. As Paul says be careful with that extra power on winter roads, you will need silky smooth throttle control, but what you learn riding this time of year pays big dividends come summer.

Also as Paul says, we love pics on here, to post them you need to host them on something like photobucket and then copy the link into yiur post. ..

Also there is a load of banter, good humoured p!ss taking so bring yiur sense of humour and a thick skin.

We have loads of experts on here, and I'm being serious now, members help one and other out and any questions you may have just ask as someone will have been there, done that and got the t shirt, the only stupid question is a question that's not asked.

So welcome to the mad house and congratulations on yiur purchase , the 5vy is a beautiful R1, which colour did you go fir?

Oh and have you still got the R6, I have one of those as well the 13s, the R1 is tucked up for winter :P

Anyway welcome

Cilla :P
