just a quick hello, ive just bought two R1's a 98 white and red 4xv and a 99 R1 with lots of harris stuff single sided swingarm and the like, into my smokers aswell got a Rd500 hybrid a Rg500 a tzr250 3xv and a tenere 750 as a hack...

is that fozzy as in fozzy bear ?
two 4xv's nice best get downloading the service manual & parts micro fiche and also having a good read through the 4xv & 5jj sections

Wheres the pic's ? best get some up of the smokers too the guys'll love you

Well I did buy one, had that for a few months then the other R1 come up and couldn't say no..not on rdr forum on rdcrazy and tzr forum and ktm forum..

aye fozzy is what me mates call me, well most of them....

The R1 the 99 needs paint the top nosecone is damaged and a crack in the rear seat, so ive ordered a cheap Chinese fairing on the bay but have asked them to paint it in 50th anniversary colours, ive heard decent reviews, worst case I fix my other panels fit them and put it back..

I should mention the RD500 isn't staying like that, im hoarding bits, I got jim lomas gp pipes and a yzr500 fairing in the lockup ready to fit..

They are some lovely bikes fozzy .
some of the guys on here have had great results from using chinese fairngs .
that 4xv is intesting with the single sided swinger

Yeah done a little research Harris did a limited run of these, around a hundred worldwide not sure if it's a 916 converted or Harris actually made the whole thing, I know the wheel and Cush is 916

i used to love the single siders but next thing you know it mas the must have thing for a streetfighter same as the 916 rear end , still looks good
