Just like to say hi to everyone. Had a quick browse around and looks like a good friendly forum with some very knowledgeable members.
I live on the Wirral and after leaving school i got an ER50 to get around on and rode all sorts of bikes off road. But passed driving test and work required me to drive. I've been riding big bikes for around 11 years now after passing my dacs. I got a CBR600RR for my first bike (Sorry) before getting a ducati monster m900 (don't know what possessed me). Anyway I saw the light and found a really nice R1 5JJ in blue with only 12000 miles on the clock so I bought it and absolutely love it. I have had it for nearly 2 years now and looking forward to taking it over to the Isle of Man this year for the TT (first time). I will try and upload some pictures later when I get the chance.

Haha. It did have a micron on when I bought it but I put standard one back on because it seemed to run a bit rough with it on. Wasn't sure if it needed setting up in any way? May try it back on and see how it feels now I've got used to bike.

I haven't got it any more. I bought because I loved the look of it but couldn't take to riding it. Made your ears bleed and there was no way of knowing if it was broke or not. Lol. Was a lovely looking bike though. Sold it to fund the R1. Great decision.
