Hi All,
Looks like a good forum for banter and knowledge of all things AND R1's
Very quick précis and i will post picks later when i get near a windows based pc.
Been riding since I was 7, first road bike at 16, passed test 17 on a 125 (just caught the 125 law) and then straight onto an RD250LC. After that, bike history was RGV250L, RGV250M, RG500, CBR1000RRR (Tiger Blade) then every major revision of the Fire Blade from 899, 918, 929, 954,1000 under seat pipes to my current 08 RR8 model. I am no Spring Chicken as you will have gathered from that
Also bought a Honda RS250R 4 years ago.
Lifetime MGP fan with Barry Sheene, Kevin Schwantz, Mick Doohan and VR46 being the riders i have appreciated watching the most over the years. You can't knock Marquez though

In fact anyone who races bikes at top level are all supremely talented and deserve admiration.
Track Days are my thing these days, packed in the roads when i bought my 08 Blade.
First track day 24 years ago, do about 4-5 a year, many tracks, Catalunya stands out as the best one i have done. Took my ACU last year, looking to do a race this year on the 250GP Bike in the ACU250GP National Championship
My current Blade is 7 years old come May and as Honda have stagnated a bit in recent years I have decided for change.
That's why i am in here with you good people
I was on the R1M registration page the minute it became live at 12pm, went through the application and i am lucky to now be waiting like a pregnant mother for April to delivery my new baby.
Signed up for the YRE, hoping to do Mugello ... Waiting for that web site to go live at the moment.
Well there you have it ... Some pictures later

I dont like you
Great history mate, you have had some epic bikes and hopefully will soon be getting another. This is a great place to have a laugh and learn and pass on stories and info. Looking forward to the pics especially the older bikes.
There are a few racers and ex racers on here and a lot of TD riders, we are having a Cadwell meet in May and 3 are off to Cartagena soon
What spec is the RS, like to see that

Thanks for the warm welcome lads, glad to have found this forum. Initially i joined the 'other' one that shall never be mentioned again
Different language over there and a very different culture .. one i am not keen on. Searched this morning for somewhere else and spotted here ... Home from home
I have been in the garage tinkering with the RS and Blade this morning and going back in there shortly but come dark i am off to the office to post some pics.
The RS can probably be spotted on the internet no doubt, if you google honda rs250r specs it will probably take you Steve Patricksons site where the basic specs can be seen. I am running Avgas at the moment and have some 'A Kit' parts on it.
Laterz ...

Would love too but unfortunately work commitments in March are horrendous GRRRR, that's one track I want to take to RS to. Getting the Avgas there is a problem though
We will catch up soon enough Bub
So what piks do you guys want to see and where should I put them?

Silvers 2014 on the Blade;
I love this bike ... So many good times on it in the last 7 years, best road bike I have ever owned bar none .... But sold it tonight to make way for the R1M ... feeling a little sad as it happens.
