Welcome along, Rich

Plenty of 5VYs on the market, I'm sure - a lot still in good condition.

Why the change from ZX-10s ? The R-1 is a very different bike, I think.

Thanks for the warm welcome!
I feel right at home already :) ,........and less than 24hrs after registering it looks like I may have become an R1 owner already
I've put a holding deposit on a 05 plate (55) in shift red with 13k on the clock. I'm driving down to SP Motrocycles in Exeter tomorrow to view and finalize the purchase so fingers crossed

I'll get some better pics tomorrow all being well

Hi Al.
I've been a Kawasaki fan for years but just really just fancied a change.
I sold my last bike 2 years ago so I've had plenty of time to think about what I'd really like to own next and with luck keep for a few years, the R1 became op of my list.......the Wife says its due to me reaching 40! haha.

Ah-Hah! Certainly the 5VY is a lot more "comfortable" than the ZX10.

Just seen your post - with your choice.................

I must say - I've always liked the "Lava Red" R-1. Second-best colour!
