Hello
Been looking at the forum for a good while now just never posted.
I was looking for a 4XV for a while. Seen a few on ebay but they were miles away. Then, like a small child, my attention went elsewhere.
Out of the blue a mate text's me. A bloke he works with has a blue 4XV, 2 owners, 10,500 miles with the MOTs to backup the mileage. Couldn't let it pass. Really nice bike. Not a show room condition, 8.5 out of 10. Suits me as I intend to ride it.
It is standard apart from a double bubble screen, micron high level pipe and gilles rearsets. I have fitted the standard pipe and footrests.
For all its a nice bike the bloke who owned did little more than wash it. Last winter it got it's rear suspension linkage bearings done, the spyball alarm removed (That was a headache), head races greased, fork oil changed, oil and filters, anodised bling removed and other bits and bobs done.
I have always said I like blue the best even before I bought it. My mate has a Red / White and when they are parked side by side I have to concede his is that bit prettier.
I don't have a photobucket account or I would have posted some pics.
Cheers Michael
