Hi all just a quick hello to you all. I don't currently have a R1, but have had plenty in the past. I am searching for the original 1998 model in red and white, so if anyone can help me I would really appreciate it.

Hi Richard, welcome to the forum and good luck in your search for a good origional R1.
Tell us a bit about your biking history, which R1's have you owned and how did you get on with them. Also post up some pics of them if you have any, we love pics on here.
Forum banter is great, yes we are a nosey bunch but we all generally get on and help each other out.
