Last year I test rode the new R1, I was pretty much blown away by the raw power of the thing, I also saw pretty high figures on the speedo in a pretty short distance, but my local dealer only had one available with over 12000 on the clock, I would have bought one if lower mileage, I also saw a 1098 ...

Hi all
Thought if introduce myself, currently on a 1098 and thinking about a R1, had a 4xv a few years back and am tempted to come back after filling up with fuel every 90 miles
