I have had the 9r for 5 years and just fancy a change, always loved the r1, I test rode a 2007 a couple of weeks ago and loved it,

Welcome to the firum Ivan, this really is the best biking firum ever, we are not only mad about bikes but we love everything yamaha..... The guys n gals on here are BREAT, the even put up with my miss spelings ..... They are a decent bunch, always got an answer fjr any question yiu may have and are really welcoming . They have a great sense of humour.... They keep on telling me to get lost...... But that's them just playing, seriously, and you have already said this, it's a great firum . Good luck in your R 1 searching, whatever model you go fjr they are great... Enjoy the site and your potential R 1.

Please buy a bike with lots of after market parts already fitted, must have decat PCIII or 5 and pipes, that will save you a shed load of cash
