Howdy
Howdy
Been a member of the forum for a while just looking up various Yamaha bits of info but being a Suzuki rider wasn't very active!!
I'm looking at buying a R6 tomorrow and wanted to post a question in the chat section but apparently I need to post here first, so here it is!
So hi, now i'm off to the chat section.

Re: Howdy
Afternoon all and thanks for the warm welcome - except from Luke, cock.
Yep bought the 13S yesterday so I can now official be active on YamahaR! Cant say a lot about it yet as I literally sat on it, revved it up for 2 minutes and then put it in the shed to go and pick up the in laws from Gatwick!! Didn't even have time to take a picture but spec is;
Ohlins TTX rear shock
K-Tech fork pistons, valves and adjusters
Gilles black rearsets
Power commander 5
MHP exhaust
ASV unbreakable levers
K & N Air filter
Braided hoses
Domino QA throttle
Ohlins steering Damper mounted under yoke so less likely to break in crash.
Spare wets on wheels with brand new michelin wets.
Captive spacers and fixed rear brake caliper
Shark fin
Got a whole box full of spares as well, rearsets, new renthal clipons, sprockets, bearings, engine protectors, levers etc etc
Needs a tank ideally as the shoulders on this one are a bit dinged, a lot dinged actually but overall a pretty good deal i thought.
Pod, it was July we were up at Cadwell mate. Managed to get 3 days in during August, my holiday got cancelled so did a couple days at Brands GP but nothing in September. Wouldn't mind one day on the R6 before packing for for the winter - trying to persuade Luke but he said he's too slow to go out on track now.

Re: Howdy
Got some pictures finally, she ain't too much of a looker but hell of a ride.
First ride at a wet and foggy Brands Hatch yesterday and I have to say that I loved it from the first lap, great bike. The 16,500 RPM red line is a bit of an eye opener in the wet for the first time.

Nice one Simon, like a woman looks can fade but if the engine is purring and she handles well when wet, then all is fine and dandy
