Hello to everyone.
Howdo;
I've owned an R1 since 2000 when I bought one new. I bought an '03 new and still have it. I'm toying with the idea of having the fork internals replaced and buying a new shock from Maxton. Seems a far more cost effective idea than buying a new bike(according to the wife!). My current mods are simply an Ohlins damper and an extremely loud Gp style short pipe which finishes just it front of the back tyre. Sounds nice on full chat.
Note that the 'Rossi's idol' is purely tongue-in-cheek!!

Re: Hello to everyone.
Pod, you said you'd like to see a picture of the exhaust, what do you think?
2002r1jon, similar to what you had? It is loud but the sound makes you want to cane it more and more!!!
When I bought it, they recommend the baffle be re-wrapped each year but I haven't bothered.
