Hi all, new to the site and the R1. Always wanted one as I had both the fzr1000's (ex up & non exup) a few years ago and loved them. Just bought an 2008 4c8 model in blue & white, very pleased with it so far. I'm from the south east so there's lots of good roads to ride near me. Also got a little 600 hornet that gets used all weathers for work, don't want to get the R1 too dirty!!
Looking forward to learning a bit more about the R1 on this site.

Welcome in Mr Walton, the 4c8 is a stunning looking R1. This is a great firum and peeps love pics on here, as they say a pic paints a thousand words.... To post pics host them on photobucket and copy the kink in here.
You will need a good sense of humour jonboy as there is loads of banter and general p!ss taking on here, but it's all friendly stuff. Also loads of knowledgable peeps on here.
If you ever want to know how to throw your 4c8 into a ditch, PJC is our expert, and they know what they say about experts, and ex is a has been and a spurt is a drip under pressure...... Which sums PJC up quite well actually.
Then we have monkey face, it's a shame for him as he only has half an R1, he actually bought it like that and is now saving up for the other half.......but his paper round don't pay that much.
Then there is colon, he is a really nice guy, not the arse that yiu would think he would be with his name
Then old twinkle toes..... He has more snow on top than Everest
Then there is our Luke.... The firum version of the United nations, but not as diplomatic
We have the dwarf....... Bub and the strawberry blond who is also known as Jon, he may be related to yiu?
