Bloody ell Colin, you are posh in Glasgow, my cloths wouldn't even be in bin bags, they would be thrown in the mud, and if it was a dry summer, Joan would make some mud....... And for once I'm not joking mate.

I was going to post you a link to cool n comfy but it looks like you have what you need , I'd be interested to know what clutch cable your using as I bought my bike streetfightered & when the clutch cable broke I couldn't find a standard cable to fit even with all the contacts Jen has in the bike trade ! I ended up making a new bracket so that a gs (suzuki I think ) cable fits . I'm sure cool n comfy state you have to cut the fairing but maybe if you used a flatter style of bar you may not have too

hi jompy the cable i am using is off a Kawasaki Z440 LTD 82-85 i have had to turn the original bracket round like this
Image

(for now but will make a bracket later its working fine like this tho) maybe your bracket will be ok?

Image

managed to use normal renthal low road bars with enough room to keep fairings original (my main concern) everything is loosely put together and clears tank ect m/c is just bolted on to where the switch tightens up (will be getting a bracket for it) that's it up to now

added link here cable is more than long enough http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390599115696? ... EBIDX%3AIT" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Nope, you're right, I don't like the bar conversion, but then again I don't have to do I? Looking nice otherwise! Enjoy!
