Re: Where ya from?
Hi all..
Not been on the forum for ages. Probably due to winter blues. Not sure if I'd created a profile correctly or mentioned a bit about myself before asking questions so here goes.
I've been biking for the past 10 years and started late as I'm 45 now. However never looked back because it's a way of life now and nothing quite comes close to the buzz. I've had a range of bikes. GSXR750, Ducati 999s, Z1000, Tuono, GSXR1000, however my R1 4c8 which I bought in June 2012 has to be my favourite. All the bikes had their own positives but the R1 just does it. I'm sure you all know what I mean otherwise you wouldn't be on the forum. I live in Lanarkshire, Scotland and part of a group of local bikers. Big range of bikes in the group too with 5 R1's included. We're taking over. Haha.
Toured most of Scotland and been across the Alps in 2013 and attend the BMW motorrad track days at Knockhill every year.
Hope to see some of the forum this year. Entering the Intermediate group this time. I'll attempt some pics soon and thanks in advance for any replies to questions I post.
Cheers
Bob..

Re: Where ya from?
Im in Grangemouth - i braved the weather on Saturday for a quick run, but it seemed such a nice day it turned into a 120+mile blast - Grangemouth to Luss, then up Loch Lomond to Crainlarich, and completed the loop home via Callander - its a great ride, especially at this time of the year when the roads are a bit quieter !
