Another newly from Bolton!

Hello All :)

I've been lurking for a while and thought it time to say hello. The forum seems great with lots of great advice.

I've got 2 x R1's. 1 is a big bang that does the odd track day but is otherwise pampered and the other is an 08 plate that takes me from Bolton to North Wales most days for work.... The 08 has bar muffs and heated grips. Doesn't look great but over the past few weeks I wouldn't of had it any other way!!

I'm not saying too much I fitted heated grips to mine when I was travelling to mid Wales every other weekend not not in fcuking winter :lol:

Welcome in Shaun and you have two very beautiful R1's there. As yiu know if you dress correctly you can be nice n warm on a bike and dry too, I used to commute all year but just from warrington to Preston, so no where like the distance you are covering so I salute you sir :clap:

I have heated grips fitted to my R6 and they do make a big difference.

Safe riding in this weather mate

Oh and because you have been hanging around a while there is no need for me to tell you what a mad house this is, how helpful the guys are and that yiu will need a thick skin, oh and to give as good as you get as yiu already know that :P
