First r1

Post by Chuk »

Hi all hust bought a 2000 year r1 at the weekend paid what i think is a reasonable price not a bargain but not too cheap either, other current bike 1999 kawasaki zrx1100 retro muscle style bike looking forwards to a tad drier weather to get some miles under my belt, bike is very clean for year and just over 19,000 mls 4 owners must admit got a pleasant surprise at the build qaulity of the bike  almost honda like certainly better than my rex bog standard other than a trioval yoshi endcan. Oopsy should add pics to follow probably this afternoon.

i was and still am very impressed with my 4xv , it always puts a smile on my face :D
if your changing the oil FFS DO NOT i'll repeat DO NOT use the torque setting of 42nm for the sump plug as shown in the service manual & the haynes manual its a country mile out , just do a search on here & read the woe's
