Welcome in mike - as some have suggested were rather keen on viewing pictures of new forum members motorcycle(s) and it's appreciated if a new member could embellish their newbie post with some information appertaining to their motorcycling history - so come on old chap, what do you say ;) :)

Was just having a look around the site to get a feel for the peeps on here. But a few questions have just been answered :D

Im an old git who lives in southport, been into and racing bikes since i was 5, thanks to a bike nut dad. Done the usual, had bikes, got married/kids/mortgage etc so no bikes for a while.

Binned the phsyco bought a bike again, went racing again. Started with a 98 R1and raced every model since until the 14B. Couldnt get on with that so went back to a 4C8 which was a fancy bit of kit. We raced a 5vy in the UK endurance championships when they were 6 and 8hr races. Been to the dark side for the last 12 months with a ZX10 as a track toy.

Do some work with a couple of BSB race teams and now have a NEED for the new R1. Awesome bike by all accounts.

Hello Mike, welcome.
Always worries me when people just 'drop in', I'm never mentally prepared. Bit like when I pick up the wife and she says she just wants to pop in the shops quickly and it's like damn it, I wasn't prepared for this, I'm not ready, my heads gonna explode.

Who's rattled your cage monkey face ....... Very funny though and sad but true

We,come to the forum Mike, the Big Bang, or banger or sausage as its sometimes known on here is not to everyone's liking, a bit like marmite, you either love it or hate it. Personally I can't stand marmite, but I love the 14b, I'm on my third, but as I say, not everyone's cop of tea..... This is jompyon his t break .... He wasn't into cross dressing in those days, he is the one facing the camera....

Anyway welcome to the mad house, I hope you have a sense if humour........ You will need it....... Oh and I'm sure there is loads of tips you can give us, so hang around, join in with the banter and give as good as yiu get

By far the best one I've had was my last 4c8. Mega quick with a full blown super bike motor 191bhp. See it on track now and then and it's still a missile.
Will post a pic when I figure out how to do it.
