Hello All!

Post by stelangton »

Hello all, joined some time back but was quite busy with work so ill say hello now. I am originally from Liverpool but have been living around Bury st edmunds for some years. I originally owned a 98 r1 (blue) but had a bit of a slide. After 5 long months of rebuilding (thought i may as well do everything!!). Went out and got knocked off, so wasnt best pleased and was going to get rid. I decided to rebuild again and im so glad i did!! Well thats me so hopefully i can get advice and give some. Well lets see if i can get some pics up!

Yeah all back together now after a good year and a half finding bits and pieces. Just got to get the carbs sorted. All of a sudden it sounds like a lawn mower?? And the power is down. :violin:

Welcome to the forum steve, beautiful looking bike and you have done a really good job in putting her back together, as Jompy, aka monkey face says let's hope it's the end of your bad luck.

And our very own Dr Jeckle and Mr Hyde ...... Who is also known as steve, cock, Dave George or pete, he is a great guy.

Then we have wally, he ain't been on here yet, colon, and ginge and old twinkle toes ..... To name but a few

Anyway, we all get on quite well, loads if banter and helpful hints, and if someone is unfortunate to have an off we will all rummage through our garage to find spares for them ...... And that's what is really great about this forum..... The camaraderie

Anyway welcome and join in with the fun

Cilla :) ..... Using the new correct smiley face
