Hi Mark, welcome.
Yeah, she'll probably need a few mods being a crossplane, but don't let that put you off.

Re: Hi everyone
Thanks for the replies lads.
Been riding for 28 yrs, for the last 12 years I have been an Aprilia man owning various RSV's. Love modifying bikes so no problem there. This will be a track project, so any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers Mark

Re: Hi everyone
Welcome to the forum mark, you won't be dissapointed with your 14b, I'm on me third so I love em.
Ignore Jompy or monkey face as he is known, all he knows about R1's is how to remove the fairings ...... Thing is the silly monkey don't know how to put em back
You have come to the right place for advice the guys are very knowledgable.
One thing I found with my 14b's is that the fly by wire throttle can be somewhat snatchy on the road, it ain't really a problem on the track, but a flash tune from MikeR1 one of the forum owners will sort that out and give you a few more ponies to boot.
Anyway welcome to the mad house and join in with the banter
Stephen
