Radiator replacement

Post by Tim0816 »

Hi all

Came across this forum after searching on the net. I've got an R1 2008 and have now developed a leak from the rad, stone impact no doubt!! Has anyone on here purchased a replacement from anywhere else a part from Yamaha? They are extortionately pricey. I've come across wemoto on the net selling a pattern part, has anyone else used a pattern rad.

Cheers

Tim

Hi Tim , I just replaced mine last week. Got it from a forum member. 100 -120 for 2nd hand on ebay is too much. I know a few on fb that have bought the Chinese ones new at 80 quid and had no problems

Hi Tim
This is the newbies section bud for you to say hi & tell us a bit about yourself , your biking history & post a pic of your bike .
Obviously being new here & not having had a look around first & reading the guidlines & rule ( who the f**k does ? ) you'd not know this .
Questions & help are meant to be posted in the other sections as you'll get a lot more response in the right section as some people don't look at the newbies posts !
If you have a sense of humour you'll love this forum as its full of banter & piss taking ;)
i don't know if you use ebay but have a gander at the link for your rad problem
