Newbie
Hi
I am new to this forum, been riding bikes for as long as I can remember which these days isn't saying much! My first R1 was the first model back in 1999. Received my R1M last month and have to say it's a great bit of kit, still learning about all the things on it. I'm from Devon and the bike is going to be used mostly for track days with maybe a bit of road use in between. Would be good to hear from other R1 owners and maybe join up for a track day or two.
Great to see the depth of knowledge on here
and it looks like I will be able to find the answers to any question I have.
Thanks
Ash

Re: Newbie
Welcome to the forum Ash and congratulations on your R1M , a few of the guys on here either have them or are waiting for Yamaha to deliver them. Devon is a really nice part of the world
If you want to talk bikes and do track days, you have come to the right place, the guys on here are nuts about riding on track, well a lot if them are, the rest are just nuts.
Anyway, loads of good humoured banter, please post up some pics of your M .... We love pics in here, and join in with the banter
Welcome
Stephen
