Health reasons guys, he's had his share of the quicker stuff, still has his old Bandit 1200 which he's going to keep if he's having a good day and feels like a bit of a blast and currently is working on a Suzuki GSX1400 but will sell that once it's back together - His reckoning is as long as he can ride he'll be happy on whatever it is!

He thought his riding days were over completely until I convinced him to bring his bike to the isle of man this year and badgered him into taking it out, he decided he needed something easier for him to get on and off of and to slow him down a bit (because if he comes of at any sort of speed it wont end well).

He's had spinal op's into double numbers due to breaking his neck twice, once in a powerlifting accident and once at work, they never fixed it so he suffers from limited mobility and constant pain. Considering they told him he'd end up in a wheel chair 20 odd years ago he's doing alright.

I'm just happy me and my dad can get out on the bikes regardless of what either of us are riding :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Anyway guys, sorry for my english
ivano your english is better than Cilla's (steveR1) and pinnit's but then thats not very hard
From talking to Pinnit at Cadwell, as far as I could make out, I think he comes from Kazakhstan, unfortunately I don't speak Kazakhstani so we mostly nodded and drank beer.
PMSL you crack me up

Hope the weather's alright and im not completely shattered to go for a little ride in the evening!
Tell him to go real easy into the bends, doesn't take much to deck them out and end up on the wrong side of the road due to no more lean angle...

...er, this is based upon empirical knowledge shall we say...more than once... :shifty:

Personally I think cruisers are great, loved the two I had...different mood, different bike. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Sounds bloody lovely!

Didn't have too much of a blast, just wanted to get used to it, moving from a 600 that i've have for 5 years its a fair difference! That being said did spin the rear up under acceleration and get the front in the air over taking some cars so not a completely sedate ride.

Impressed with it so far, just need to get out a bit more, only got out for 40 miles on Sunday on it - Will get more either in the evenings this week or at the weekend.

Obviously being a thou the throttle is that much more sensitive, the brakes are very good, seems to handle well from what i've experienced so far.

Only downside i've found is the fact i'll never have a cold arse whilst riding my bike ever again

If it hasn't already got one, a decat will cool things down a little, but not completely.

Very capable bikes, more than once i've had people ask me if it was a 1000 or a 750 I was riding, they seemed shocked when I said a 600

Didn't like seeing it up for sale in the shop after the part ex - Grew quite attached to the bike! But.. Onwards and upwards, never know I might end up getting another one as a track bike in the future if I dont gel with my VFR400 NC30 track bike that i'm currently building.

No, left it in 'STD' mode - Was only an issue when I was slowed down by traffic or sitting in a 30mph limit - Will be looking to get a decat pipe anyway so the fact it helps with the heat is a bonus
