Thetony... He say hello

Post by Thetony »

How's it going. Glad to finally get an intro done. Truth is I've spent a sh!t load of time on here lately. They must have relaxed the Internet roles at work as i could never get on forums before. So I've re registered (reset passwords etc as was briefly on here a long while back, it seems) with 'R.co.uk and was able to rake through the whole forum at my leasure at work. Winner indeed. I just couldn't get any pics or anything from my phone into s work computer. I remembered the whole photobucket thing being a pain in the arse as i got quite forumy once before and got right into it for a bit before it shut down. I got hours of my life back per day so didn't bother getting into another. It was liberating. But now i can rip the sh!t out of it at work!? Hello in fucking deed!
I just managed to get tapatalk onto my phone as now i junked a load of sh!te off it so the photobucket sphincter annoyance shouldn't be a concern. I'll just try and get a pic up for ye's. I think I've one when i first got my 4C8. 6 years ago. f**k me, 6 years... taken about 50 miles after i bought it off a fella in Whitley Bay on its way to Troon. Where it still is. 6 years with the same bike says it all. What a fucking motorcycle.
Can't find that pic. Probably best. I was sitting on it with aviators on and it would have been all to easy for you fuckers to get a start in with the slagging. Lol. Yup, I've been lurking like a mofo remember... This is when i got it home to Ayrshire. With the bird. 6 years with that fucking maniac too, i have Stockholm syndrome. Clearly.

fucking fingers crossed this picture malarkey is as easy as it seems. Coz that was a doddle.

Fucking beauty. So easy. As was buying this back then off a poor dude going through a divorce who needed rid of it pronto. Paid only £5400 if i remember right. I know. Stole it. What a day. Nice to find the day 1 pics for you.

Anyway. Nicer to finally get on properly. I just found a good load of pics to talk you through a good intro thread. WITH PICS! And punctuation! Holy. sh!t. Indeed.

I'll get back on in a bit and do the biking history Bollocks. But with some of these newly found old pics that'll be a doddle too.

Firstly. Correspondence:
Odd ball questions are the way forward here. Fire away. My initial reaction isn't the answer to your question. The answer is no. I've not read that book. But i fucking well will be!

My initial reaction to the question was... FUCKING b1tch. SIOBHAN YOU COW GET THIS UP YOU! 15 years ago i lost at scramble due to her claiming that chickenhawk is not a word. Not a real thing. Not f**k all. I never played the game since.

So thank you sir. Today is a good day. I went full on CAPS crazy there as that will shortly be a screen shot being sent to a certain Siobhan. 15 fucking years you b1tch. Lol. That book's getting bought the f**k right up. Even if only for evidencing the existence of the word. The very word clearly referenced in Any foghorn Leghorn cartoon that featured his nephew, who wanted to be one. And again used in House of pain lyric: " am a CHICKENHAWK, Huntin' for a chicken. Punks get paranoid when they hear ma Glock clickin" other than that, I'm all out of chickenhawk chat. Felt so good realising predictive text already knew the word! Today. Such a good day. In your face Barkess.

Oh yeah. Here's the most recent pics of the R1. That old thing... so you can have a zoom-in gander and try and find something to judge me on. Lol. Form those opinions ladies, here we go. From the top of the camera roll on the phone. as they fall. From a month ago.

Erm. The last 2 aren't a spot the difference. Balls. And it doesn't irritate me at all that the pillion stay want clicked down for its unveiling on an R1 bloody forum. Much.

Found the first pics on fb. sh!t-Eating grin. And that first thoughts on a long journey being burnt testes. Only took me a 5 years to get the decat and then fit it a year later. I don't like to rush in to things. I remember that my other first thoughts were... That can't be right!? ...104mph in first fucking gear!? What the hell have i just bought...

Biking history Bollocks. The cv: been bike daft since age about 10. Honestly bought every bike magazine every month since 12. Performance bikes and superbike and street fighters and the rest. I only mention the early interest as that's why you'll find I've some old school tastes and memories and knowledge. Dream bikes being building a 7/11 or a magnum 5 for example. I don't f**k about. Briefly had a slingshot. 2nd bike. After SV650s. Queue pic.

Sorry bud your fucked !
Jen says A "chickenhawk" is a slang term so therefore no good for scrabble also it was cypress hill not house of pain ( cracking tune btw )
Chickenhawk the book is about a guy that joins the us army to become a Helo pilot & ends up a Huey pilot in vietnam where he meets a fellow pilot that refers to himself as "The Dave"

Here's more pics. Hope you don't mind a wee visual trip down memory lane for me here. Passed cbt at 17 before driving. Did it again at 23 and direct access. Already had sv. Kept 3 years whilst paying it off. Great 1st bike. The slingshot was brief during the sv years. They say don't ever meet your heros... i know why. This hero was a fat gutless bastard with awful brakes and suspension and tyres. So forget about me actually wanting to own a 7/11 or Harris now. Lol

Probably the reason i can be so hard on the old GSXR. That should have remained an Athena poster pipe dream... I'd been using my mate's R1 a lot. It must have been 2004 as he had one of the first or that year. He worked for Ride On Yamaha, local dealer at the time. I fell in love with R1s about that time. Though I'd used his previous model a bit too.

Then once the sv was paid off i got a 929 RRY blade. I rode to work every day. For 2 years on the Suzukis then 3 on the Honda. I didn't have a car. The mrs did. The blade had 48k on her before her demise. Loved that bike.

i was only on lap 30 odd of that round about! You'd have thought I'd have remembered the way it went! Was fannying about scraping knees on a new front and learned a lot the hard way. Also figured out that crash mushrooms would have greatly helped that fateful day. ..

I remember more now. I'd been done for some ridiculous speeding months before i binned the blade. I thought I'd better get something slower to try and keep my licence a bit longer. Or at all, to be honest, at that stage. But i needed transport to work. So i got cash together and bought something a pratical to commute on again. That was slower and less powerful than the blade. To help my case in court. Where i represented myself.
