Re: 4c8 not starting
Thank you YoungR1 & AdamR1,
I will keep an eye out for the bits required by the mechanics and will contact you.
Adam, mechanic seems to think its starter motor, solenoid is working fine he says but will be taking out the starter motor to check if any malfunction.
I will feed to him what you mentioned about being crankshaft position sensor!!
Thank you and God bless us all bikers.

Re: 4c8 not starting
Morning guys,
It turned out to be burnt starter motor
Quality of Yamaha!!!
I just don't understand, back in time I used to think it's only french machines pack up (no offense)....
Japanese engineering...
Bike has only done 12k miles.
Any thoughts on this?
Thanks in advance.

Re: 4c8 not starting
Yes jompy,
I guess you are right. I have kept it stored for almost year or year n half....
But then again, found one for £25.00 plus delivery and getting it by end month. Blackdog Motorcycles being very cooperative and keeping it till I give them part and without any storage costs.
So all in all, it worked out not as bad as I thought!
