Hi Everyone,
I do apologise if this has already been asked. I have an R1 and want to mount a gopro to the pivot mount on the headstock. I would be grateful for any experience of where to buy the fitting or ideas around it.
Cheers H
Gopro headstock mount
Re: Gopro headstock mount
I know you can buy them but I can't remember where off the top of my head. Search on the TDR forum (you don't have to be a member), there's loads of threads on there about mounting them including the site you need.
I made one for my aim solo out of a bolt through the mounting plate and a bit of rubber hose with a nut and washer on the bottom. Do the nut and bolt up and the hose expands in the headstock hole. Same could easily be done for a GoPro.

I use the spindle part of one of these...

...but without the plastic ball part and use with an extra mount I made. Problem with the ram mount is too much vibration, so I Had to modify it...

Now this works great...
But Simons suggestion seems like the cheapest and easiest route.
