my R1's a banger

Hi All

So I just wrote a whole piece and in trying to upload a picture i lost the page

anyway, so, hello all. i am a fresh owner of an R1 and while i may be new to the forum this particular R1 isnt. I was lucky enough to see mavericks ad right at the point of having made a decision that the R1 was going to be my next bike. I was considering a Ducati Panigale but i never really got round to trying one on for size.

Ive come off an 1000rr5 fireblade and was again lucky enough to to sell it before taking delivery. Having spent 2 years on the saddle of the fireblade i thought i was ready for the R1, however on my maiden voyage i quickly understood all the reviews i had read. What a bike. i do believe this is my fav bike so far, ive not owned that many and only done like 50 miles so far ...

no doubt i will be posting from time to time as i get my saddle time. role on summer!!!

Sounds like you've already fallen in love with the 14b .

Looks like you've already worded out how to post pics but here's a guide anyway you may or may not find it helpful
And for posting pic's as we love pic's
get yourself a free photobucket account & follow the idiots guide to posting pics from your pc

1 - "choose file" and browse to the image you wish to upload from your PC
2 - In the "resize" drop down choose either 15" or 17" screen (15 is enough and fast too)
3 - Press "upload now" where it will ask you to type in a couple of words to confirm you are a human being and not an automated program.
4 - Once done copy the text from the "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards" field
5 - Then just paste it exactly as is in to your message.

or you can post direct from your not so smart phone using tapawank (tapatalk) it's great for posting pic's & notifications but wank for viewing the forum

Welcome in Javeed it about bloody time you introduced yerself .....Anyway what are you doing with the bike out I told you not to take it out Its not used to being ridden And is there a speck of dirt on the front wheel I can see

Anyway mate enjoy it buddy ....We are doing Donnington on the 24th March would be great if you can pop over and say hello to all us reprobates And dont bring the R1 if its raining It wont love you for it.....
