Newb from Ireland!

Post by Force-v4 »

Howdy lads and lasses, newb from Ireland saying hello. In the process of buying a house at the mo so had to sell my 13 multistrada S and my RC8. Was looking for something for a sunny day and happened across this spotless 2006 5VY locally. Didnt know if a jap inline 4 would be my think but I love it! Seriously capable bike! So far I've ordered a single seat cowl and just dumped the Dunlop Qualifiers for a nice new set of S20 Evos. Pretty much everything else has been done already. I'd like to decat it, fit a performance filter and maybe a power commander to get her breathing a little easier. Good thing is ebay is full of parts, quite unlike the Italian stuff I used ride. Cheers everyone, Jay

Welcome to the forum Jay, cracking first post and a picture of your pride and joy to boot    , we love pics on here :D . Those 5vy's are a cracking bike and I must admit I have a soft spot fir the lava red ones as it was one of them that was my first foray into Yamaha ownership back in 2004, got over 65k trouble free miles out of that bike :D

Anyway, welcome to the mad house, join in the banter, have a laugh and ask any questions you may have

Welcome

Stephen :D
