Hey All
Hey guys I have just bought my first ever R1. Its a 2004 R1 with full service history and 26k miles. Its an awesome bike ive wanted one since they came out and I finally have.

cheers jompy. Just need to get riding it mate as not ridden a road bike for 5 years and never a 1000cc. I went racing tds for a few years then had 2.5 years off bikes as couldn't afford them with 2 kids but could get the r1 now so thought why not lol. Its like starting again with time ive had off hopefully it will come back fairly quickly.

Welcome to the forum Lucas , that's a beautiful 5vy you have there, must admit I fell in love with this version when I saw it for the first time at the NEC back in 2003, just had to have one, drove my mate mad keeping going back to take a look and sit on it lol, did the same last year with the R1M . 
As clarky says take your time and get used to the bike and power, they are a very rewarding bike to ride and they go on and on, got over 65k miles on mine in less than three years [emoji3]
