Re: newbie with a dead 5eb
Welcome to the forum Darryl , generally before new members ask questions, which we are more than happy to answer, they use the newbie section to introduce themselves, tell us about their biking history and post up pics of their bike, that way we get to know them and you get to know us.
You may find it helpful if you post your question in the relative bike related section, that way members with the same bike as yiurs are more likely to see your question.
Unfortunately for you, I'm the least mechanically minded person on the forum so there is no way I can help you, but the other members who know all about this stuff will be along later, more likely this evening, so hopefully they should be able to help.
I will keep on replying to this post so it remains near the top of active posts, they are more likely to see it then.
Good luck and welcome to the forum
Stephen
