Hi from Australia
Hi from Australia
Hi all,
On my 3rd R1 and this time have gone back to red and white 98 model for restoration. Going to post in the model specific area about wanting to know the oem fairing colour on the inside of the front fairing and inside of the rear cowl. Both were messed with by the previous owner.
Thanks,
Dan.

Welcome, sounds like an interesting project. There's quite a few 4xv owners here, and even a couple of members who actually know something about them!
Are you restoring back to original, or will it have some mods?

Re: Hi from Australia
Welcome to the forum Dan from sunny Austraila, I was fortunate enough to work in Sydney, only for a few months, 20 years ago, you really do have a beautiful country, and the weather to boot
As peeps have said we love projects on here and restoring an origional R1 will make a great thread, any questions the guys will have the answers
So join in the banter, have a laugh with all if us, yes we do have a somewhat strange British sense of humour but hay the country wouldn't be the same without it
So welcome
Stephen
