Don't own a road bike anymore. But I believe Road bike only days can only be a good thing. I remember when you may see 3 or 4 track bikes and the rest were road ones. The scrutineer bays were full of fooked road YZF's, gixers and blades

No you just have to have a road bike. Numberplate and indicators etc.
