Welcome to the forum Graeme, you hav egot yiurself a cracking R1, the sound track on the bangers is truly awsome. If it's not been flashed or fitted with a PCV with custom map it will definitely benefit from that, the throttle can be somewhat snatchy and the flash / power commander smoths that out. Get rid of the cat if it still there, it will melt your right leg, mine was fitted with ackrapovics and their link pipe, without baffles in she would pass a noise test at oulton park, they hav ea limit of 102db and she came in around the 100db. They are a physically big bike and do need to be muscelled into the corners which you will soon get the hang off, oh an dthe feedback they give, I'm sure they were all vaccinated with a gramophone needle, they keep telling you what's going on underneath you, yeah they are a bloody fantastic bike, enjoy. :D

Welcome

Stephen
