Cooling fans on 2012 R1

Hi Guys,

I need some help please. I've recently changed my Radiator as the old one had got a hole in it. I put the bike back together and now the fans are blowing air through the rad from the rear. is this correct? and is it possible to put the connectors on the wrong way round?

Any help is much appreciated.

If the fans are on the rear of the rad they should be sucking air through
