Newbie

Post by lafem_2002 »

Hi, i recently passed my CBT [emoji4] bought a YZF r125.. love it, it's taking a bit of getting used to. I used to be a bit of a Tom boy and my 2 brothers always had motorbike, my youngest a crosser and my older more sports bikes..my yzf is the smallest engine size I've ever rode [emoji23][emoji23] but that was 20 years ago, when I was fierless [emoji23][emoji23] I rode the bigger bikes..[emoji4] -(back field)
So I'm back to the bikes always loved them and have been an avid pillion on my many bikes[emoji4]
Ready to start over and from scratch and looking for any helpful hints, advice , friends [emoji4].. thanks for having me Image

Welcome in from CA! That is a nice looking R125, we don't have those over here. We don't have L plates either though, so you never know if the rider next to you is a kamikaze in disguise.

It's like one happily dysfunctional family in here with lots of great people, stick around make yourself at home.

Welcome in so
Those R125's look great(for a bike with a fairing  ) when you planning on taking your full test ?
I've always sad that passing a driving / riding test is just the start , now the real learning begins like learning to counter steer , let's hope you have a fun time learning ( although by the sounds of it you have the gist already )
Enjoy the forum and don't take anything to heart :)
