Ancient non-compliant newbie

Post by maelstrom »

Hello All,
I am not good at this so this intro is somewhat late.

I live in Thailand (originally Australia) and my wife and I have a little business, LiteTek. http://www.litetek.co/index.html
In a past life I was a bike mechanic amongst other things and now I have an old FZR400 which is my R4 project (based loosely on R7).

I first came to this forum to sort out an USD front end for it, and the members here were friendly and helpful. Not a forum Nazi in sight.
The dream is to get more bikes and mod them to make kits that we can sell. It is very hard to get the old bikes here though, so it is
going to be a slow process.
Cheers
Blair

Hey Blair
I'm not going to say welcome in as you've been here for ages and your build in the projects section is a master piece .
I remember you selling the carb rebuild kit :handgestures-thumbupright:
Hope your well

Most of the reason that I am so slow is that I have to make/mod everything myself and sometimes that means buying my own equipment, like the TIG, lathe etc. Next on the shopping list is a CNC mill ouch, that one will hurt. My lathe will be here next week so I there will be a flurry of activity coming :)
