So this is where you all went..And I went and got another R1

HI All,

Like many was on the old forum and had a 2009 cross plane crank with the 'red' frame and silver - fell out of love with it due to failed TPS sensors and Yamaha's response of 'no other bike in UK affected' even though I told them of 2 / 3 others and having to spend almost £300 to replace. That bike was sold about 12 months ago...but boy I missed how it rode

Anyhow - fast forward to November and I had a 2012 Blade that did not 'float by boat' - no real difference to my 2008 on - and then I saw a second hand zero mile Cal Crutchlow replica in my local dealer so did a trade.

Its just had first service so now the proper riding can begin!

Has decat pipe and Quill end cans plus R&G (which I had from original R1) - will get some pics up when I have chance

Welcome back chief. Looking forward to the pics. Did u contact Yamaha UK or a dealer to try and sort the tps sensor out? :dance:

Liased with both, gave Yamaha UK the dealer to speak to who had fixed other bikes - still told no issue, issolated incident, bike 2 months out of warranty, get your cash out.
