Hey guys just dropping in to say hello....I pick my first ever R1 up on Wednesday at the ripe old age of 43 lol it’s a 2004.well with me being a driving instructor I felt I needed a bit of a release haha

Which model is it ? Is it the 5vy first of the twin underwear exhaust or is it a late registered 5pw first of the injection models ?

Yeah it’s the letterbox model with side exhaust but registered on 04 I’ll put some pics up when I’ve worked out how to lol is it still a good bike or am I missing out on the 04-06 upgrades and power

If you want to post direct from your smartphone then Tapatalk is great or I use postimage.org to host my pics but you don't need to have an account with them although it is handy , upload your pic and copy the direct link , post the link and then highlight the link as if you were going to copy it , while it's highlighted click on the Img tab or it maybe a little pic of a tree that will sit above where you type your thread .
To see what your image link should look like before you post , underneath my post with the pic click on QUOTE and you'll see how I've posted my pic

I was out on her today what an absolute beast of a bike I can’t believe how good it was
