New r1 owner
Hi all, bought my new to me 2003 5pw about 2weeks ago, what can I say apart from brilliant, came with ohlins rear shock, ohlins steering damper, forks reworked at mct, power commander with custom map, 139bhp at the rear wheel
Really great bike to ride specially in the twisties, I am a bike mechanic and have to say one of the best balanced bikes I have ridden
Will try to add some pics as soon as I work out how to
Cheers Steve

Thanks for the welcome, looking forward to getting some more miles on her before this weather finally breaks, never owned a bike that feels so planted, i had a 929 blade before this and that was good but the r1 feels lika another level!
That rossi bloke rides a blue yamaha and that looks fast

Steve,
Welcome to the forum, you have a cracking looking R1 there and the 5PW has by far the best rear light going on any R1, Jon on here fitted one of those that combines the rear indicators.... it looks mint.
Please forgive my sense of humour with Paul, itโs just that he believed blue bikes are the fastest.... bless him..... some even think red ones are the fastest [emoji3](thatโs why they donโt do the M in red.... and add blue wheels to slow it down [emoji23]) but seriously, all R1โs irrespective of colour are bloody fast.... itโs just that red ones have the edge [emoji6]
Cracking name BTW
welcome
