Hi , I’m new to the forum , I have been riding on and off road bikes since my teens now in my early 50’s ,I have just got a 2002 R1 5JJ its my first 4 stroke yam and my first litre bike , my R1 is 100% standard but it has a couple of niggles that I need advise on , I am also restoring a 1980 350 LC , live near Milton Keynes , cheers

welcome in pal, enjoy what we believe to be the best bike forum (we're a 'brotherhood' of bikers [emoji16]) in the world** so join in/ask questions/post pics then you'll feel involved [emoji106][emoji16]
i may be slightly biased but i think the 5jj is the best one because they took the original 'ground-breaking' 4xv & very carefully sharpened the looks & made the riding experience smoother- sweeter [emoji6][emoji16] heres a pic of mine in the fasterer blue as we all know.
