Hello there

Post by G1zzard1533! »

Hi I’m G1zzard,

I bought a 2002 5PW R1 back in April this year, she was a bit rough around the edges but mechanically sound, given her a full service including valve clearance check and all was well. Enjoyed riding her over the summer months and since winter has come along I’ve stripped her down for an overhaul.

I’ll start a thread about it if I remember to get pictures, never been good with photos always get stuck into the work and forget to take them.

I’ve come for some advice and will give in return

Hi and welcome to the forum, a lot of the guys on here are great with technical knowledge, sadly, I’m as much use as a chocolate fire guard in that department.

Sorry, G1zzard, I missed your post in all of the Temu spam. I've always wanted a 5pw but there are very few in NZ. Enjoy!
