Thought I'd best introduce myself I'm Darryl from Notts and I recently bought a 5PW to knock around on after I sold my well sorted newer Blade. I've stripped, cleaned and checked her over and for an old girl she rides well. She does have a PC3 and some other bits on which helps

Looking forward to contributing nothing but nonsense and enjoying a bit of banter.

Just had a little one and I also felt guilty having 5k sat in garage only being used in the summer However, after 2 weeks it just did not feel right not having a bike. Wife got fed up of me going on about it and told me to one Had a 02 R6 before the Blade and decided I wanted an R1 as never had one before.

It only owes me 2K, so I can tinker with it, strip it in the winter and do the odd track day on it.

Welcome, not been here long myself, had the R1 sitting in the garage for the last couple of years doing nothing. Could never bring myself NOT to have a bike, currently in the process of getting it back on the road, and already have this forum to thank for me buying a few things I never knew I needed.

There is definitely a laugh to be had on here judging by some of the comments from those who have been around a while.
